Meanwhile is looking for an experienced fine dining server, who either recently passed Level One (Introduction) of Court Master Sommelier and studying for Certification, or equal knowledge, or higher.
We are looking for an easy going, stable person who is confident in their own skin and can work alone. Our guests have become accustomed to being served in a high standards. We are looking for a person who cares as best as possible for outstanding service, and would like to work with an extensive wine list focusing on natural, small production, family owned wineries, quality, and collectables.
The candidate will work on the floor with one other server/sommelier. The candidate will start the day setting the floor and getting ready for dinner service, welcome guests place orders on the POS, advice on wine, running food, wash glasses. We look to hire someone who understands being a server in a small establishment.
The position offers helping find accommodation in town, 2 consecutive days off per week. It is currently a seasonal (May through October) position but there is the opportunity to grow to year round.
We hope for a reasonable amount of experience (minimum 3-5 years in upscale or fine dining establishments). This could be a great opportunity for either a professional sommelier/server looking to cut back a bit from an intense work pace/environment or a younger sommelier/server seeking to shine in a premiere multi award winning restaurant.

Meanwhile is opening for dinner service only (kitchen opens at 5.00 and takes last order around 8.00 (9.00 summer months) We are offering three course chef tasting (starter, appetizer, main) (dessert optional) with multiple choices.

The intimate dining room has 32 indoor seatings (20 patio seatings overlooking the ocean) and restaurant has an unrivaled reputation and offers a warm and authentic immersion into simple fine dining. We seat 60 people max per night.
